  21. Hi all, I'm a film student and ran in to what seems an interesting opportunity to 
  22. do some animation for a 16mm film. I first was asked to consider animating for the 
  23. project a few months ago by a fellow film student. At that time she had no funding for 
  24. the film. For some reason she wants to use 3D instead of traditional hand drawn. I ran 
  25. in to her yesterday and she asked if I was still interested because she now has found 
  26. funding. The film is for Mike and Spikes Festival of Twisted Animation. So we're gonna 
  27. be making some gross stuff probably. They haven't finalized the effects yet but are 
  28. working on it. They would begin filming in a few months. I thought this would be a 
  29. good opportunity to offer a chance to some other LightWavers to break out of video and 
  30. move in to the film world, okay it's only 16mm but its film at least ;)...

  33. So if you're in the Silicon Valley/Santa Cruz or Los Angeles regions and feel that you 
  34. are qualified to do work on this project. Please email me. I can't promise that you'll 
  35. get paid big bucks, ( I have a feeling some money will have to go into buying larger 
  36. hard drives rather than in the pockets of the film's crew) but we should get paid some 
  37. amount of money, get our names on a film that will be shown around the USA...and that 
  38. means exposure for us who are not in the lightwave limelight yet. People who have 
  39. experience modeling for character type objects, layout animators who are comfortable 
  40. character animating and people who are good with compositing video with CGI are highly 
  41. desired...If you feel that you've something special to add to the production..feel
